Over the past few days, I’ve developed a little addiction to Comics Alliance’s “Remedial Batmanology”, a retrospective of the film franchise set in the Batman universe (including Catwoman).
In the case of the Burton/Schumacher Batman films, as well as Halle Berry’s Catwoman, the reviews are hilariously snarky while still extremely informative, while their analyses of the Nolan series function as a sort of director’s commentary from the long-time comic fan’s point of view.
Definitely take a look if you’re at all interested in comics, or the rights and wrongs of Hollywood adaptation.
I decided to watch an episode of RPA because it involved a knee operation that I almost had a couple of years ago, but after seeing them pump the fluid out of someone’s dislocated knee joint, I’m quite glad I decided to put it off.
Do I have greeny brown water floating around in my knee, too?!
